Carl John Zwahlen, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 7, 2001 surrounded by his family.
Born Sept. 15, 1937 to Samuel and Atlanta Zwahlen. Attended East High School and grad-uated from the University of Utah. He married Gay Johnson in 1959. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He worked in the Health Insurance Business. He was the President and Co-owner of Benefit Management Services. He was a member of the Centerville-Farmington Rotary Club.
Carl spent his life in serving his family, friends and faith. Carl knew how to have fun and he took his "humor seriously". We will miss him and are so thankful for all the wonderful memories he has given us.
Survived by his wife, Gay; children, Blaine (Gina); Guy (Sandra); Amy (Lonny) King; Heidi
(John) Allen; Ann (fiance Rob Littlefield); 12 grandchildren; sisters, Jean Mitchell; Judy (Bill) Knott; Ruth (Earl) Ellison; Shirley Gilbert; Drucilla (Harry) Nash. Preceded in death by his father and mother, and brother, Samuel.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 11, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Centerville Canyon View Stake Center, 2110 North Main. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and again Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment-Centerville City Cemetery.
